Sea food PASTA!!

One of those days especially weekends, when you don't feel like having the regular everyday pasta and mum goes like "Let's have one of those fancy restaurant-ish (yuppp..made that word up😏😏😏) pastas". And we figured sea food pasta was a great option for a Friday night meal. With this feel-good pasta, you could enjoy a flavor filled meal with the sea food mix of your choice, pasta of your choice and of course vegetables.


Today's pasta recipe is an outstanding combo of yummy shrimps, crab meat, along with the homemade tomato sauce, and bell peppers. Not to mention it was mum's recipe, and this woman can cook ehnnn!😍😍.

Ingredients

Crab (4-5 pieces)
1/2 kg of peeled shrimps
2-3 pieces of bell peppers
Chili
Onions
Fresh tomatoes & Tomato paste
Vegetable oil
Salt and stock cubes and curry

Method

  1. First you need to clean your crab and shrimps if not already cleaned and then pre-cook crab meat and shrimp with salt and water.
  2. Next, cook pasta and drain water once cooked (Make sure you do not overcook it).
  3. Put two full cooking spoons of vegetable oil in pot or sauce pan (doesn't really matter)and first add chopped onions and tomato paste and allow to fry, then add mix of blended chili and fresh tomatoes.
  4. Allow to fry, until dry.
  5. Now add meat or chicken stock to tomato sauce if you have. If you don't, you can add little water to the sauce (Water or stock should not be too much, since the pasta has been pre-cooked).
  6. Add salt, stock cube and curry to taste, then add pasta and allow to cook till there is little water left.
  7. Finally add chopped bell peppers and mixed pre-cooked seafood and stir for few minutes, and your sea food pasta is ready!!
